As a collective of Indigenous Autonomists from across the Western Hemisphere, the First Nations Union seeks to fulfill the Red Nation Prophecy of TÈŸašúÅ‹ke Witkó. Our political platform is centered on the recognition and restoration of Indigenous sovereignty, self-determination, and the rights of Indigenous peoples to their traditional homelands. Our platform includes the following key points:

1). Decolonization: We reject the idea that colonialism, whether left-wing or right-wing, is a thing of the past. Instead, we recognize that colonialism is an ongoing and developing process that continues to impact Indigenous peoples today. We demand the dismantling of all colonial institutions, policies, and practices that continue to perpetuate harm against Indigenous peoples the world over.

2). Land Back: We demand the return of all stolen Indigenous lands and the restoration of full Indigenous sovereignty over those lands. We reject the notion of property rights and land ownership, as these are colonial concepts that seek to supersede traditional land stewardship with individualistic and economic privatization.

3). Self-Determination: Indigenous peoples have the right to self-determination, which includes the right to determine their political status and freely pursue the economic, social, and cultural development of their communities. We support the rebirth of traditional governance guided by the traditional rule of traditional law while rejecting the colonial notion of a "nation-state."

4). Environmental Justice: We recognize that Indigenous peoples have been the most impacted by environmental degradation, pollution, and climate change. We demand the right to steward our traditional lands and waters, protect our biodiversity, and maintain our cultural and spiritual practices related to our place in the natural cycle of life. We demand recognition for our crucial role in the ongoing struggle against climate change.

5). Solidarity: We recognize that the struggles of Indigenous peoples are interconnected with the struggles of all oppressed peoples. We stand in solidarity with all those fighting for justice, liberation, and the right to self-determination. We will work with other organizations and movements to build a world that is just, equitable, and sustainable for all. We reject ethnonationalism and chauvinism in all of their forms. A First Nations Union is a Union of First Nations, not a Union for First Nations alone.

The First Nations Union is not a partisan organization, as Indigenous Autonomism is pre-political. Indigenous Autonomism is merely the ideology of generational resistance to assimilation and colonialism. We recognize that left-wing and right-wing ideologies are both wings of the colonial bird that is eating away at Indigenous governance. Our goal is not to be a part of the bird but to shoot the bird.

Instead, we seek to restore Indigenous sovereignty and self-determination by promoting Indigenous autonomy and self-governance. This includes supporting Indigenous-led solutions to environmental and social issues, as well as advocating for the recognition and protection of Indigenous land rights. We also prioritize the revitalization of Indigenous languages, cultures, and traditions, and support the preservation of sacred sites and natural resources. The First Nations Union stands in solidarity with all Indigenous communities and seeks to build bridges with other marginalized communities to fight for collective liberation.
